French chanson, noise, echoes of a faraway and ancient music. Modified radio transistors and other old electronic gear… Bégayer’s mission is to create a yet to be discovered genre of hybrid gipsy rhapsody. Through vocals, homemade percussion and other instruments, they celebrate two immutable music activities: the song of the people, whose cry breaks the barrier between life and art, and the art of performance explored as a communal effort to describe our times.
